TEACHING
In today's environment it is elementary to be able to have your drum and mind tuning in the best shape possible. Robert has taught students for more than 20 years now, from beginners to intermediates as well as professionals. He has developed a unique and efficient way of learning to play and move freely around the drums. Also to sharpen the students skills, lift their reading to the next level, help finding their own sound and tune their minds into the best shape possible.
His curriculum includes all important aspects of technique including various grips, motions and rudiments. All different drum set styles, starting with the roots of Rhythm & Blues, to straight ahead Jazz, Be Bop and Contemporary Jazz, to Funk, Afro Cuban, Brazilian and Caribbean, to Rock and Pop all the way to today's Indie music including the background, grooves and fills to sound authentic. His reading methods are designed to help students to get a better understanding of rhythm and its notation and be able to read everything that comes along their musical journey.
